As alarming as this post’s title may sound, it’s actually quite not. This week I stopped Fuzeon, the drug that requires twice a day injections after a year and a half.
Man, it feels so great! Can you imagine over two months of time in Mexico, and another two months of other international travel where I had to bring enough syringes for twice a day injections, and mixing drug for twice a day. That’s up to four syringes a day!
It feels like when all of a sudden I no longer have to take the dogs out. It is so routine I don’t think about it until I don’t have to do it, and it feels strange but in a good way.
Fuzeon is so 2001 anyway, I needed to keep up with what was more fashionable, and Integrase Inhibitors are it baby!
Not to mention it’s lovely salmon colour goes great with my decor!
I’m just starting to feel normal, and now I’m doing laundry so I can pack and head off to Vancouver.
I have a lot of memories there, and baggage. It’s been 18 years since I’ve been.
All the people who I knew when I lived there so long ago in my youth are all dead now. I’m sure I’ll share more on that when I am there. I’ll do my best to not go to far down memory lane while I’m there and try to create new memories.

wow, you were on that a long time… i only made it for 3 weeks and it made me so ill, i haven’t been the same since and i’ve been constantly nauseous ever since and that’s been over 3 years now…
wow, you had a very bad reaction to it. There were no side effects for me, other than having to give myself a needle.
